An overproof and cask-aged variant of Fords Gin, made with the same botanical recipe as the original, produced at Thames Distillers in London, then rested in 64 litre Amontillado sherry casks for three weeks. It's then blended with a portion of the unaged gin, helping to balance the intensity of the oak notes imparted from the casks, and bottled at 54.5% ABV. We reckon this would make a great Last Word cocktail.
Sharp citrus and bright juniper, juxtaposed with warming plummy roundness.
