Beefeater master distiller Desmond Payne MBE experimented with several different techniques before he settled on the recipe for this new pretty-in-pink variant, which is made using the original Beefeater London Dry Gin recipe. The strawberry flavour is added post-distillation.

Aromatic and earthy summer berry notes lead, with warm peppery juniper, caster sugar and a vibrant floral elegance underneath.
Creamy vanilla and a generous pinch of black pepper surround the soft and supple strawberry. Bright juniper and a touch of acidity with a little hint of citrus fill the backdrop.
Warm and sweet.
A light and lovely treat of a gin.
Not bad. The strawberry flavour is very artificial, tastes nothing like the fruit. Despite that, with a good tonic and plenty of ice it's a nice refreshing drink perfect for a warm summer evening.
Don't believe the bad reviews. Quite frankly, if you buy strawberry gin, what do you expect!. The only question is then how sweet/dry it is compared to other strawberry gins (duh!). This one is sharp, zingy and crucially not sickly/syrupy sweet, yet again Beefeater come up trumps compared to other more expensive fare. Add a small pinch of black pepper and chopped strawberry to make this even better.
It’s a gin and I wouldn’t clean a cat’s arse with it
Love it... one of my favourites! Tonic cuts through the sweetness and makes it not sickly....
Disgusting
