Wolfe Bros. Gin started in 2020 during the Covid lockdown. Brothers Jonathan and Alexander Neil created it. They owned bars in Leeds but had to close them due to the pandemic. They began making spirits and bottled cocktails. At first, they delivered these to Yorkshire homes. Now, their gins and liqueurs are well-known. You can buy them online, in wine and spirit stores, and in top bars in the north.
Thomas Green's Coffee Liqueur
This liqueur is made with cold-brewed coffee. It has a balance of bitter, dark chocolate, and vanilla flavours. It is low in sugar, so the coffee taste stands out. You can mix it or drink it over ice. It has a creamy sweetness, a dry spice, and a bittersweet aftertaste. It's great with orange over ice or in an Espresso Martini.
London Dry Gin
Made in Yorkshire, this gin is distilled in copper pot stills. It has a bold profile with herbs, citrus, and hints of juniper and cedarwood. It's best in a Gin & Tonic with Double Dutch Indian Tonic and grapefruit.
Raspberry & Hibiscus Gin
This gin is based on the London Dry. It has hibiscus flowers and British raspberries. It's pink, fruity, and full-bodied. It goes well with ginger ale, an orange twist, and fresh raspberries.
Pear & Fig Gin
First a winter special, this gin is now always available. It has fresh green notes, fig sweetness, and a biscuity finish. It's good over ice with Double Dutch Cranberry & Ginger Soda, orange, and rosemary.
English Rose & Angelica
This pink gin uses rose hips and petals. It starts with a warm spice and ends with a sweet rosewater and jasmine scent. It's perfect with lemon tonic, cucumber, ice, and fresh mint.
Orange & Bergamot Gin
Inspired by the Mediterranean, this gin has bold citrus, floral bergamot, and a creamy juniper finish. Serve it over ice with Lemon Tonic, an orange wedge, and a dehydrated lemon wheel.
Limoncello
This limoncello uses leftovers from distilling and lemon husks. It has a balanced taste of zesty lemon, candied peels, and lemon curd. It's great over ice with a lemon twist.
