The Remi Landier XO expression is a blend of Fins Bois eaux-de-vie which has been aged for around 20 years, developing glorious, full-bodied notes of gingerbread, oranges and blackberries.

I tried several XO Grande Champagne cognacs and although their delicate fruity-floral character was generally quite pleasing, something was missing for me. Then I accidentally bumped into Remi Landier XO and wow! – this example of Fin Bois cognac is certainly different, and in a big way. I know now what I was missing – a rounded, full-bodied profile, like in a good single malt. It’s thick, chewy, intense. Very enjoyable.
