Top quality cognac from Ragnaud Sabourin, distilled exclusively from Ugni Blanc grapes grown in the premier Grande Champagne region.

Cognac and Armagnac are two of my favorite things to drink. When traveling in France, I sample as much as possible and then bring interesting bottles home. This, thus far, is my favorite. It is exceptionally smooth, does not overwhelm the palate with the upfront alcohol punch and gives you a yummy glow. I taste pear, caramel, honey, cigar box, cedar, and something a bit floral on the finish. It is not overly spicy or smoky and is on the sweeter side. Personally I do not prefer cognacs with a decidedly raisin or rotting fruit flavor, so this suits my tastes exceptionally well.
