Semi-dry cider from Normandy's Château de Sassy, created by Xavier d’Audiffret Pasquier and Pierre-Emmanuel Racine-Jourden. Well-balanced and refreshing.
Light and sweet up front, with a touch of acidity developing on the mid-palate. Hints of grape, citrus blossom and sharp green apple.
A lovely start to a meal, we had a lovely meal of roast pork , followed by apple crumble. This was the ideal accompaniment/ starter with a rich taste of apple , mildly sparkling - and great value for money.
