A terrific take on a classic Italian aperitif. It's crafted in small batches over several months with a base of Bombay Sapphire gin, Martini Rosso vermouth and Campari, along with a top secret blend of aromatics. All that's left for you to do is pour it over ice with a slice of orange. Oh, and drink it. That's a thing.
All the hallmarks of a classic Negroni - juniper, mixed spice, red fruit, wrapped up with a bolstered aromatic edge.
Fantastic, better flavor than mixing your own and way easier.
Negroni's have been my drink of choice for many years now, but I have noticed that over the last year or so pre mixed Negronis have been more prevalent which I do not like. However, having had this bought for me as a present I can honestly say it's the best version I have tasted. It has just that little extra bite which does not overpower the original concept. Well done......now if you could only get the price down........!
Love this stuff. First got hooked on Negroni’s before they were a thing - bumming my way round the states as a barman. Wouldn’t normally drink premix – but a mate of mine turned me onto Fatman’s. Hadn’t come across an aged Negroni before but it really works – smoothing out the corners while still giving you that lip smacking floral punch from the Campari – perfectly balanced with the sweetness of the vermouth. There’s no better way to ride out the apocalypse and it’s the perfect antidote to a day home schooling two feral children. Only quibble is the wife likes it too.
This is my favourite new drink. Like the reviewer below, ice & orange peel, but midweek, I'm topping up with some Orange Fevertree tonic. OMG! Love this so much! Ordering some more in for gifts for friends.
This is my favourite after work/before dinner drink. In fact I am having one now. Ice, orange and a very generous slug of the Fatman's and I am very contented.
