Glen Scotia is spreading the vibes this May by bringing a new two-day whisky festival to Luss Distillery.
The Campbeltown distillery is introducing the ‘Glen Scotia Mini Malts Festival’ to the agenda alongside the annual Campbeltown Malts Festival. Held from 16–17 May, it’s a smaller, more intimate counterpart to the established fixture in the global whisky calendar.
Attendees can enjoy Glen Scotia’s portfolio of single malt whiskies (also available here) while discovering

If you can’t make it to Campbeltown, the Mini Malts Festival is the next best thing!
Bringing the whisky festival To Luss
The whiole thing will take place at Luss Distillery, which isn’t actually in Campbeltown. Instead, it’s about an hour north of Glasgow. This makes it accessible. Campbeltown is a pilgrimage. A brilliant one. But not everyone can make it.
Luss has just opened and was founded by the Loch Lomond Group, who are the owners of Glen Scotia, Loch Lomond Whiskies and Ben Lomond Gin. It’s all making sense, isn’t it?
The distillery will become something of a mini Campbeltown this May. There’s a Glen Scotia pop-up bar offering drams of this year’s Festival Edition bottling and a selection of exclusive single cask releases from the Campbeltown Malts Festival in recent years, highly limited and much-loved drams selected by master blender, Ashley Smith.

Who wants to try this year’s whisky?
Tastings and further info
There will also be two unique tasting sessions:
A ‘Deconstructed Campbeltown Malts FestivGlal Release 2026’ – A proper deep dive. You taste the individual components that make up this year’s limited release, pulling apart the flavour profile to see what actually makes it tick.
The ‘Big Campbeltown Character Tasting’ – A guided look at the house style, centred on the 12 Year Old. Expect tropical fruit, a hit of coastal salt, and that slightly oily texture Campbeltown fans bang on about for a reason.
If you have ever wanted to do Campbeltown properly but never quite made it happen, this is the next best thing.
