A Big Night for Master of Malt at the eCommerce Awards 2016

Last night we took home an array of awesome awards from the eCommerce Awards 2016, including Medium eCommerce Company of the Year and The eCommerce Gold Award!

We’re immensely proud to say that at the eCommerce Awards 2016 last night we ended up taking home four amazing awards! It’s always beyond humbling to be recognised for doing something that people are excited about, especially among the great competition at last night’s ceremony.

First up, #WhiskySanta snapped up a pair of trophies – Best Social Media eCommerce Campaign and Best Marketing & Advertising eCommerce Campaign! As we get closer to Christmas this year, we’ve been seeing rumours of this award-winning, heavily bearded supernatural being’s return… Keep your eyes peeled!

After that, we picked up the Medium eCommerce Company of the Year trophy! We were incredibly honoured to be singled out for this, especially considering that the eCommerce Awards are open to every single online retailer, not just those who sell drinks. Of course, winning awards like this only makes us more determined to up our game in the future. You ain’t seen nothin’ yet.

We barely had time to sit back down after all the high-fiving and generally “causing a scene” before they called us up again and announced that we’d also won the eCommerce Gold Award for the overall winner of the entire awards ceremony!!! None of us could believe it – we were absolutely bowled over – and, just for once, utterly speechless.

So yes, a big night for us. We’re hugely humbled to have been recognised in this way, and we’re just so, so grateful to all of you lovely people for standing by us all these years and helping us constantly iterate and improve. We won’t ever stop working to make our customer experience better. It’s at the heart of our mission, and our values.
