Oh ho ho! What do we have here? An International Spirits Challenge Trophy, for me? Why it’s like Christmas in July! Although, for the avoidance of doubt, not at all like the choas of the film “Christmas in July” (which is one of my favourites). Mrs. Claus tells me I need to stop mentioning 1940s cinema, as it’ll stop me being “down with the kids”, but now I have a Digital and Social Trophy! How much more hip and with it can you get?
Specifically, the trophy is for the Best Digital and Social Media Campaign in the spirits industry during the last year. A huge accolade and one that myself, Father Pugmas, the reindeer, Mrs. Claus and of course all of the Chaps at Master of Malt are enormously proud of.
When I look back at the all the #WhiskySanta activity, we really did have fun, didn’t we? A huge thank you, as always, must go to all of you reading this for joining in on Twitter, Facebook and product pages, to all those who bought Christmas goodies on the site and to all those who spread the good word. Without you none of this would be possible. You’re truly all beautiful, intelligent, wonderful people (and that’s coming from somebody who’s omniscient).
I sadly couldn’t make it to the award ceremony in person due to a previous commitment, but Master of Malt’s Marketing Manager Rob accepted the trophy in my stead whilst wearing his finest velvet jacket.
And here it is, a massive, pointy, wieldable Trophy! Very, very pleasing indeed:
