Riglos Gran Corte 2009 Bottling Note
This Argentinian red wine is from Mendoza and is made from a blend of 70% Malbec, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc and is fermented using indigenous yeasts and is aged for 22 months in French oak barrels.
Dark chocolate coated liquorish and cassis fruit on the nose leading to plums, damsons and cola sweets on the palate. The finish has the sweet and spicy notes of cinnamon. The tannins are well-integrated for a smooth and pleasant drink.
