Pinot Noir Wine

Okay, so hands up those of you who haven't seen the film 'Sideways'? If not, don't even bother reading on (buy some wine, sure, but…) go and watch it now. That film gives some context as to the levels that some people are prepared to go to in their pursuit of the perfect Pinot, and whilst we're not advocating the levels of overindulgence contained therein, there are definitely some lessons to be learned. The Pinot Noir Grape can reasonably accurately be described as a 'sponge' - sucking up the terroir around it with effortless ease. We like Pinot. Can you tell?
