A 1940 vintage of vatted malt whisky from Speyside, this was bottled as part of Gordon and MacPhail's Pride of Strathspey range.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Malty dried fruits with peat smoke poking through.

Palate: Thick and rich, with notes of chocolate, oak smoke and white fruits.

Finish: Demerara sugar at first followed by peat and dried fruits.

Overall: This is a Blended malt whisky from 1940, a piece of history in a glass.
