Nose: Rum and lime followed by butterscotch, cedar wood, baked apples and strawberries.
Palate: The flavour is sweet and mouth-coatingly awesome. Fudge, citrus fruit and apples fill the mouth with liquid wonderment.
Finish: Baked apple, cinnamon, nutmeg and sugared almonds form the basis of a finish that goes on for as long as one would expect from a half-century old whisky.
Overall: Fifty years old and packing all of the flavour and complexity you could want from a grain whisky.
