MacPhail's 10 Gold Bottling Note
A 10 year old matured in Gordon and MacPhail's own casks. We can't tell you the name of the distillery, that's a secret, but we can tell you this offers classic Speyside style.
The nose is of medium-body and quite fruity. There are notes of marmalade and a touch of calvados. There is a note of barley malt and cereal sweetness, a hint of spice and Cox’s apples. The palate is a little fuller with notes of winter spice and fruitcake, a defined smoky note and just a hint of sherry. The finish is of good length with a little cereal sweetness.
