Glen Gordon 1958 Bottling Note
Gordon and MacPhail describe this as "balanced - nice array of aromas and flavours". This is a 1958 vintage from the Glen Gordon range of Speyside vatted malts, named for the Gordon Clan.
The nose is smooth and well-rounded. There are medium-bodied notes of sultana and honey, a touch of sherry and barley. A toasty oak note develops. The palate is of medium-body and very smooth. There are notes sherried peels, a touch of toasty oak and notes of marmalade. The finish is fresh and crisp with notes of orange peel and sultanas.
