Edradour 1994 Season's Greetings (Signatory)
Distilled at the Edradour distillery in 1994, this is a delicious and very rare single malt which was finished in port pipes before bottling for Christmas 2004. This bottle was "specially presented to Steve Poore" and it comes at natural cask strength.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Toasted, roasted aromas with hints of caramel and overripe grape. Allspice, marzipan and sherry too.
Palate
Linseed oil on the palate, with mixed spices, walnut and coffee beans. A little coffee, mixed herbs and malt.
Finish
Toffee apples and strawberry jam.
Overall
A very unusual and rich whisky from Edradour.
