Nose: Toasted, roasted aromas with hints of caramel and overripe grape. Allspice, marzipan and sherry too.
Palate: Linseed oil on the palate, with mixed spices, walnut and coffee beans. A little coffee, mixed herbs and malt.
Finish: Toffee apples and strawberry jam.
Overall: A very unusual and rich whisky from Edradour.
