Pouilly-Fuissé is an appellation in the southern part of Burgundy. It's famous for its ripe full-bodied chardonnays. This comes from a top producer, Louis Jadot, and would be great with all kinds of fish dishes like turbot, smoked salmon and even good honest fish & chips, though go easy on the vinegar.
Lots of stone fruit with lemons and cooked apples bolstered with cinnamon, vanilla and hazelnuts. Round ripe style.
