Intense mineral white wine from near Perpignan in the Roussillon, the bit of France that's right next to Spain. This is made from grenache blanc, roussanne, and macabeu which are fermented in stainless steel and then 30% is aged in new oak barrels. The result is a wine that really tastes of where it comes from with a floral, herbal quality with concentrated citrus fruit. Try this with ratatouille or goat's cheese.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Peaches, lemons and thyme on the palate with a nutty marzipan-esque texture and a fresh lemon rind note on the finish.
