Superb 2014 vintage French red wine from Château La Tour de By, made with a combination of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Consistently one of the best value names in Bordeaux, La Tour de By are highly accomplished at creating well-structured wines that will cellar handsomely, but at eight years old this is perfect for drinking now too, especially with a rib of beef.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Blackcurrant and pencil shavings on the nose with a little tobacco. Refreshing acidity, cassis fruit, ripe tannins, and a forest floor earthiness.
