
If you love a spicy, generous red, you can't go wrong with Cotes-du-Rhone, especially when they're as good as this wine from Andre Brunel. It's a full-bodied, smooth blend of grenache, cinsualt and syrah which would be great with winter stews of all persuasions but it has the freshness just to sip in front of the telly.
Dark cherry, strawberry and a whole load of herbs and spices, rosemary, liquorice, thyme, they're all here. Full-bodied with soft ripe tannins.
