
Oregon in the US (it's the bit just north of California) has made a name for itself with its superb pinot noirs but it's also pretty handy with pinot gris as this example shows. It's great with all kinds of dishes from roast pork, especially if there's fruit involved, to North African tagines.
Full-bodied and full-fruited with orange, pineapple and apple joined by spicy ginger and honey.
