The mashbill for Woodford Reserve features a high percentage of rye: 72% corn, 18% rye and 10% malt. The whiskey is also unusual for being triple distilled and having the lowest proof upon entering the barrel where it matures for at least six years. A must have Kentucky bourbon. Makes a wonderful Old-Fashioned cocktail!
Quite thick and creamy. There are notes of honey and spice, leather, a touch of cocoa, a little smoke, toasty oak and vanilla cream with a hint of butterscotch.
Thick and full. There are notes of espresso beans, winter spice, cereal sweetness, plenty of rye, ground ginger, almond oil, toasty oak and a little rum.
Long and mature with notes of cereals and toasty oaken spice.

This is the bourbon ? for folks who enjoy the the taste enough to swallow it Slowly and smell the awesomeness coming from the glass or bottle while drinking it. Simply put it along with knob crk is by far my favorite and only bourbon I wil drink. Thanks for perfection.
Not sure what I was in the mood for , I came upon Woodford Reserve. The ABC clerk kept coming back to it as I was asking about a quality Bourbon Whiskey that was credible for sipping. I enjoy the art of tasting quality Whiskeys on 1 ice cube. I'm truly impressed and look forward to experimenting with many more Woodford Reserve products. Thank you for setting the standard for quality taste and enjoyment.
By far my favorite, smooth and goes down easy with the slow burn that warms you. Excellent flavour with a great aroma soon as you open the bottle.
I used to be a dyed-in-the-wool single malt scotch guy with a preference for the smokey, peaty varieties. But then I found Woodford Reserve and it's just such lovely, drinkable stuff on a few ice cubes, I find my bottle going down more quickly than the malts! It really is a fine on-the-rocks sipping whiskey.
JD tastes of petrol, knob creek an ash tray. Woodford reserve is the only bourbon ill touch. I am a scotch drinker and JD/knob creek put me off bourbons until a friend gifted me a bottle of woodford distillers select. Smooth as silk and wonderful tastes come around when paired with smoking a cigar.
