The mashbill for Woodford Reserve features a high percentage of rye: 72% corn, 18% rye and 10% malt. The whiskey is also unusual for being triple distilled and having the lowest proof upon entering the barrel where it matures for at least six years. A must have Kentucky bourbon. Makes a wonderful Old-Fashioned cocktail!
Quite thick and creamy. There are notes of honey and spice, leather, a touch of cocoa, a little smoke, toasty oak and vanilla cream with a hint of butterscotch.
Thick and full. There are notes of espresso beans, winter spice, cereal sweetness, plenty of rye, ground ginger, almond oil, toasty oak and a little rum.
Long and mature with notes of cereals and toasty oaken spice.

Smooth as best cognacs, better than most of the garbage booze. In my 15-20 bottles bar it is always a member. Emptied? New comes in! Rotates in my first top 10! Sipper all the way, or straight from the bottle if you like that. Bottle feels phenomenal in the hand. This is miles better from the likes of chivas 12, regular jack, or even 4 roses SB at 50%. I prefer jack SBs, abanudhs, nadurras, ABV is my thing....This in casks strength would be my top 3! Still a very good stuff, a blind buy. Trust my words.

New to bourbon and now in love with bourbon. Bourbon has always been described as sweet and spicy. Oh, my God is this sweet and spicy. I'm usually a scotch drinker but if you want a change from it, give this bourbon a try. Well above it's price range. Soft and smooth on the nose and palate. Simply delicious.
My first go at bourbon and it delivers. sweet smell. Smooth taste. play with the sip in the mouth and the spices explodes. Need to try more
I am a bourbon person. I went through the reviews and decided to try it. Definitely smells like acetone!!! Honestly it just smells like acetone. I just wasted my money. Would never recommend it to anyone.
