Outstanding
I am by no means a connoisseur, so I won't be using technical language here. All I will say is that, for me, Woodford Reserve is my favourite bourbon. It's just so... smooth and well-rounded, with just enough heat and it leaves a lively tingle on the tongue that I adore. It's also available at £22 a bottle on Amazon right now, which is a must-buy.

Pleasant surprise. On par with Hennessy. My word.
Wow. i really like this one. My regular "bourbon" in rotation is Jack SB or Jack MD 1, I was all out of my bourbouns. So the hunt was on. I went to the supermarket and there it was, all hidden down in the shelf 2 or even shelf 3, top shelf stuff like Chivas 18, Laga 16, Laphroaig 10, and funilly hardly drinkable stuff like Livet 12, Fiddich 12, Fiddich 15, Morengie 10, Scapa non age, so that told me the supermarket guys dont have a clue.
The price was 33 euros, so quite expensive. I had 20% coupon, so I got it for 27 euros. Whic I feel is a bargain. Took Dimple 15 with it (has been a year while I had it, good every day drink), and 3 miniatures (Martell, Hennessy, Chivas 12). Not worth a full bottle purchuse for me, at this time.
Have to say that Woodford is really worth every euro. Great on the nose. Interesting. When you wash your mouth with it it is super smooth, a little burnier then hennessy, but you can literally wash it for a minute or two. Please do this experiment, while enjoing it at home. I did a comparisement of all 5 spirits I currently have in my bar, and Woodford is 1. or 2. Hennessy is a bit sweeter, maybe even more wooddier, but I still kind of prefer Woodford. I also like the 43% vs 40%. I think spirits should be bottled at 43-48%. 40% is just rubbish. So in conclussion, If you like a special one, or the one to switch from Jack, Chivas 12, JWB 12, or any mayor cognacs...This is the one to go...You will not gonna want to mix this with anything, its so precious. Have to say, that Woodford is better than JWB 12, better than Chivas 12, better than Dimple 15, better then Livet 12, and Fiddich 12, 15 and 18. It is probably in top 10 alcoholic drinks I ever had in my life (probably tasting 1000 of them). Cheers guys. And fuck the recesion, life is good if we can drink stuff like this.
