It's finally here - the Woodford Reserve Double Oaked Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey. This expression begins life being aged in the same way as the classic Woodford Reserve, but following this, it is further matured in barrels which have been heavily toasted and lightly charred. This imparts an added depth of sweet oaken character to the whiskey, as well as developing the fruit, vanilla and caramel notes.
Black cherries, toffee, dark chocolate, honey and toasted almonds.
Rich and full with notes of baked apples, cinnamon, cloves and caramel.
Creamy and smooth with vanilla and baking spices.

The first time I had it I was blown away by the strong oak and vanilla flavor. I started craving it and went out and bought my own bottle. Fantastic value.
I've tried all the KY burbouns, this is my favorite. Smooth and sweet the perfect combo for me.
I read some reviews on this and thought I might give it a try. My brother was on a trip abroad because of work, and I asked him to buy this for me at travel retail. He did. Was a bit concerned cause it was a one liter bootle. Thought it might be to much to consume, and I am also more of a malt fan. My oh my, I was wrong. I have not tried a bourbon for at least 25 years. This is absolutely stunning. Now I am glad it is a one liter bootle, because it will be empty too soon. Recommended. John
Fantastic addition to the drinks cabinet, I always seem to push the other stuff aside
I went out for dinner lastnight and saw this on the list, on a whim I ordered a double. I was extremely surprised by how good it was. I would highly recommend this drink, and as a matter of fact I plan on picking up a bottle myself really soon.
