This bottling of Wild Turkey has been aged for at least six years before coming out of the barrel at 109 proof. The whiskey is only diluted slightly before bottling at 101 proof with plenty of pep.
The nose is quite subdued, yet there remains a beautiful toffeyed sweetness. Notes of toasty oak and melted vanilla ice cream, a touch of zesty citrus and butterscotch. The palate is full and rich with notes of cigar box sweetness, pepper, caramel, or ‘carmel’ should I say? Notes of honey on granary toast with a little melted butter. The finish is long and rich with spice and toast notes.

What can I say about WT 101 that hasn't already been said. The absolute king of bourbon whiskey! Full and flavorsome. Rich and Balanced. Caramel, vanilla, cherry & oak. YEE-HAW
The finest!
Bourbon
CUSTARD, vanilla, cardamon, little bit of cinnamon. Caramel. Eggnog. Some citrus, very soft. COCONUT. Dill on the nose, especially out of the bottle, MINTY DILL. Raisins, slight juicy grape note, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries and black currants. Cloudberries. Over ripe strawberries. SWEET. Velvety texture. Char, soft. Dusty CORN. Full flavored, nice and mellow. Does not in fact bite you. A real CHARMER. Afternoon neck pour and late evening second pour. ~ For the price, a very strong 5.0 ~
40 € per bottle. When u drink this first time you will get confused of its spiciness with abv. And if you haven't experienced rye before. Now, i dont know lot about bourbon but ive drank many of the mid range whiskeys and cognacs. This one is really different! Vanilla on the nose.. on the palate 101 you can definitely taste the fresh oak, clove, caramel. Some cherry on the back that will haunt your pallet later a little. No uncomfortable ethanol taste. I dont get the cinnamon ppl talk about. Really enjoyable whiskey! 4.15
