
The first release in WhistlePig's FarmStock series is a step in the direction of the distillers in Vermont making their rye whiskey completely at their farm! Crop No.001 is made with a portion of whiskey they've distilled themselves, along with slightly older Canadian rye and then even older American rye.
Cedar spice, with a hint of sawdust to go alongside it. Kumquat, apple and sourdough bread (with salted butter).
Peppery and slightly cardamom-y up front, before layers of sugary pastry and peanut brittle appear.
Lingering butterscotch and ground cinnamon.
