Writers Tears is a light, sweet Irish whiskey made using a mix of single pot still and single malt whiskeys, resulting in oodles of honeyed, fruity notes. Wonderfully easy to drink, it would make for a great introduction to Irish whiskey for folks new to the spirit. (No writers were harmed in the making of this whiskey.)
Soft and sweet with thick honey spread on granary toast. Hints of citrus peels.
Honey develops on the palate. Mellow notes of vanilla and golden malt. Green apple skin, caramel and a hint of oak.
Warming, sweet and long.
Very yummy Irish whiskey indeed.

Just returned to US from Ireland last night. Best Whiskey I tasted and brought home!
Warm buzz
A firm favourite of mine, im a huge fan of Irish Whiskey, had 3 bottles of 'Tears and must mention that the Redhead special edition is even better! Happy drinking.
One of the smoothest of whiskeys. Tasting notes as read all easily apply.
Nice taste of fruit and honey, but it does not overpower the flavor.
