This expression is made with barrels specially selected by Uncle Nearest's founders, and curated by master blender Victoria Eady Butler (who is also Nathan 'Nearest' Green's great-great-granddaughter). Terrifically tasty, with huge helpings of vanilla and cooked fruit to enjoy.

Try this in a classic Whiskey Sour using the recipe below!
50ml Uncle Nearest 1884 Small Batch Whiskey
25ml Lemon juice
A dash of foaming bitters
10ml Sugar syrup
Shake together all the ingredients with ice, strain into a glass, and garnish with a wheel of lime.
Caramelised apples, sweet popcorn, sponge cake, a hint of toasted oak building.
More orchard fruit, now with baked apricot and a hint of orange zest. Still got loads of buttery vanilla notes to it, plus a touch of spicy nutmeg.
Cakey notes continue, paired with a whiff of smoky oak and butterscotch.
