A single malt Irish whiskey from the Cooley distillery, Tyrconnell is incredibly creamy and smooth.
Sweet and crisp with orchard fruits and a malty character. Oaked dryness and an oily note.
Full and sweet with barley malt and hot buttered granary toast with honey.
Dry and grassy with a little spice.

I'm a big fan of peated single malts and picked up the subject bottle at Canada Duty Free. Wow. Very smooth and tasty - with a little more sweetness than even the single malts in similar casks. I continue to savor my bottle. I'll be in Ireland in September and trying to score some more. - Jerry, Holland MI
I am more of a single malt Scotch Whiskey fan - peaty/smokey and all - but this is very good - almost sweet! :)
As a whiskey in general at the price point, this is terrific. Far smoother than Jameson, Bushmills or the Dew IMO, and the alcohol taste is not as overbearing as the Sallies here might indicate. Great straight and very easy over ice.
Best Irish whiskey for the money I've had.
Light slightly smokey floral flavor. Very little bite.
