Tullibardine 7 Year Old 2012 (cask 13542) - Provenance (Douglas Laing)
This Highland single malt was distilled at Tullibardine in June 2012, and was filled into a single bourbon barrel. It was aged for seven years, until August 2019, when Douglas Laing bottled it up at 46% ABV. Only 193 bottles were released as part of the Provenance series.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Apricot wheats, with fresh pancakes and melted butter, supported by a dusting of cinnamon.
Palate
Honeyed toast and toffee apple, with oak spice appearing alongside juicy raisins.
Finish
Lemon curd and buttery pastry, with toasty oak and sweet malt.
