The third release in Tomatin's Five Virtues range (following on from Wood and Fire) is the Earth expression. For this single malt, they've used peated barley - Tomatin only distil peated barley for two weeks every year, and it's only released under the Cù Bòcan name. Following distillation, Earth is matured in refill hogsheads before bottling at 46% ABV. 6,000 bottles were produced.

Got a bottle from my daughter for my birthday today (thanks Alice Heather) and it was a good choice! As an Islay man this is my kind of Highland. Creamy and warming with just enough peat smoke, and a nice colour.
