Tomatin 36 Year Old - Batch 6
We have the sixth batch of the fabulously well-aged 36 Year Old single malt from Tomatin! This one saw nearly four decades of maturation, drawn from a combination of bourbon barrels and Oloroso sherry butts. Along with the stellar whisky, inside the handsome wooden presentation box you'll also find a certificate of authenticity. Fabulous stuff from the Highlands!
Tasting Note by The Producer
Nose
Charmingly sweet on the nose, with aromas of butterscotch, pear drops and rich notes from the Oloroso sherry butts.
Palate
Once on the palate, however, it is noticeably less sweet with more wood and malt influences coming through. You may pick up on some hints of clove and cardamom.
Finish
The finish is elegantly smooth and creamy, with just a touch of spice.
