15 year old single malt from the Tomatin distillery, which have been treated to a generous five-year-long finishing period in casks that previously held Portuguese Moscatel wine. Not a particularly common type of cask for whisky maturation, but one that imparts hefty notes of dried fruit and toasted nuts - sounds excellent to us!
Granola with chocolate chunks, honey, waxy peels, Brazil nut, caramel, mango.
Vanilla, walnut, fresh orange, raisin and melted butter.
Cinnamon and clove give it a spicy kick on the finish, mellowed out by continued sultana and dried apricot.
