Tomatin 10 Year Old 2008 (cask 13774) - Old Particular (Douglas Laing)

An indie Tomatin here, distilled in the Highlands in December 2008. It spent a decade in a single refill hogshead, and was bottled by Douglas Laing just before its 11th birthday in November 2019. The 10 year old was released for the Old Particular series, with an outturn of 384 bottles at 48.4% ABV.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Floral barley, with apple crumble and toasted oats.

Palate

Spicy oak and honeyed toast, with salted milk chocolate.

Finish

A good drizzle of treacle alongside cinnamon and orchard fruit.
