Chugoku Jozo's 18 year old whisky blended in Japan from Scottish malt and Canadian grain. Part of the Togouchi range, it's aged in a railway tunnel rather than a warehouse! This is the 43.8% abv bottling.
Fragrant oak and thyme honey, with a hint of brandied cherry underneath.
Sultana and dried apricot, floral barley, stem ginger and a touch of baking spices.
Runny caramel and cereal. Hints of vanilla and orange peel.

How come this kind whisky exists even?!
Fantastico
Nose: Fruity, non-complex, some honey. Reminds me of Hibiki Harmony. Taste: Apricot and flowers. Hint of berries. Finish: Fruits, liquorice. Short finish. I tried this one at a bar in Stockholm (Akkurat). The bottle itself was half-empty but the bartender said it shouldn't be a problem since they bought the bottle and had it for 5 months.
