An indie Tobermory, bottled by Douglas Laing! This single malt from the Isle of Mull was distilled in April 1995 and allowed to age in a refill hogshead for 21 years, then bottled in November 2016 for the very handsome Old Particular range. 313 bottles were produced.
Creamy lemon and lime, with touches of vanilla developing underneath. A light waft of coastal air - but not much!
Citrus again, egg tart, cinnamon and filo pastry.
Salted chocolate, honey'd barley, a touch of Turkish Delight floral sweetness.
