The creation of master blender Alex Thomas, The Sexton Single Malt Irish whiskey is made from 100% Irish malted barley, triple distilled in copper pot stills. After, the liquid is aged in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks imparting a rich and fruity character. It comes in a rather eye-catching hexagonal bottle, too.
Rich aromas of nuts, marzipan and dark chocolate with a pinch of spice.
Dried fruit followed by honeycomb sweetness, apricots, lemon zest, prunes and oak spice.
Woody on the finish, with honeyed sweetness coming through.

The whisky is good for the price, very mellow and nice to drink However, the whiskey pourer that came with it leaked... so i lost about a drams worth before i realised
Great whiskey for the price, plus you get a handy pourer.
Uncomplicated smooth malt whiskey, with a particularly nice texture in the mouth. Ridiculously awkward bottle.
I can't believe another review compares it to Jameson's!! Jameson's is a very standard blended whiskey and also a very rough taste. If I have old paint brushes full of dried paint then I would soak them in Jameson's, other than that it is not for drinking. Sexton Single Malt is liquid poetry.
It's available in Poland without problem in some markets. Fine, not as i assumed by irish whiskey (oily and peated), not mark is much better than any blended irish or scotch.
