The Sassenach is the first whisky launched by Sam Heughan (who you may know as the actor who plays Jamie Fraser on hit sci-fi TV show Outlander), inspired by picturesque Highland landscapes. Expect waves of butterscotch, fresh citrus and warming spices from this tasty blended Scotch whisky.
Fresh apricot and orange, with a drizzle of caramel and a slow build of cinnamon.

It is what I would call a masterpiece. The color when the light hits the glass, the smell when you pour it and put it under your nose. The taste that hits you when you taste it and the amazing experience of pure enjoyment. It is so rich in taste and smell that the very experience of opening the bottle is a pleasure. Even the bottle makes it something special. The story behind the choice of name and brand, makes the whole experience extra incredible. It is an extremely well thought out product, which is now my favorite brand. Well done.
I bought two bottles and have been slightly disappointed by this whisky! To my taste, barley, then candied orange then sugar, then more sugar. Shame I hoped for a more complex flavour profile. Lovely bottle and box.
