The Sassenach is the first whisky launched by Sam Heughan (who you may know as the actor who plays Jamie Fraser on hit sci-fi TV show Outlander), inspired by picturesque Highland landscapes. Expect waves of butterscotch, fresh citrus and warming spices from this tasty blended Scotch whisky.
Fresh apricot and orange, with a drizzle of caramel and a slow build of cinnamon.
Waves of honey and vanilla fudge, dotted with raisin, almond and another helping of cinnamon spiciness.
Lasting nutmeg, citrus oils and toffee.

Nicely surprised by this excellent blend. The taste, although bit strong, is fantastic, complex but well balanced. The presentation is simply elegant. This is a great gift and I will enjoy it with great pleasure.
Quite strong but such a good taste! One drop of water also opens up the flavor. Really one of my treats on a cold night at the fire place.
I bought this whiskey for my single malt loving husband, because we enjoy Outlander together and the reviews were great. This whiskey is not the older, more complexe single malt we usually drink, but it’s a lovely and friendly blend. The bottle is simply gorgeous, for me that’s a nice bonus. With taxes and shipping costs I surely payed too mutch for the bottle (not sure, but somewhere between €130,- and €150,-), but I don’t regret it.
Brought this from the UK ?? and what a treat. To know I can now but it here in NZ even better. Smooth, with lovely after taste, and you can’t not drink it while watching Outlander ⭐️
I have always loved rum and hated whiskey. This however is heaven for a sassenach like me. It’s milder and smoother than the gut burning acid a true highlander might prefer .I would recommend any whiskey hater to try this and dare them not to love it!
