This is the first batch of Macallan Rare Cask single malt released in 2019! In 2018, Macallan started to release its Rare Cask expression in batches, with four batches planned for release in 2019. Each batch is a vatting of 50 sherry butts, showing off the distillery's history of excellent sherried expressions.

Soft notes of opulent vanilla and raisin pique the nose, giving way to a sweet ensemble of apple, lemon and orange.
Oak resonates, timeless, polished and rich. Vanilla and chocolate lead the finale along with a light citrus zest.

i have to agree with other review , selling whiskey for storing only for me is a waste
When is it going to end Macallan? So sad to see how they are selling out by offering the same liquid in the same bottle but with a different batch number and now year. Save you hard earned money and buy something you will actually drink. These won't go up in value anytime soon.
