An astonishing blended Scotch whisky from The Last Drop, comprising a marriage of over 40 malts and grains. The independent bottler doesn't just deal in whisky, and having bottled up a particularly powerful overproof Jamaican rum, it was left an empty barrel that promised to impart heaps of character upon its next contents. This inspired a plan – to finish this batch of its beloved 1971 blended Scotch whisky in the Jamaican rum cask! Once the blend had reached a whopping 50 years old, and soaked up plenty of rummy complexity, the cask was opened to release a total of 182 bottles.
