One of two new Master Distiller's releases from the summer of 2015, originally for travel retail. The Solera Reserve, like the others in the range, is made up of whiskies matured in ex-Sherry casks, American oak casks and traditional oak (i.e. refill) casks. This is what they mean by 'triple cask matured'. For the Solera Reserve a high proportion of first fill American oak is used and all the whiskies are brought together in a marrying vat that is never emptied, becoming more complex each year.
Caramelised pears and toffee apples. Classic stuff.
Fruit in syrup with cream, fudge pieces and honeycomb.
Long with vanilla and honeyed fruit.

Great price point for a delicious whisky. Don't be fooled by the no date. It has a rich flavor that is smooth. I think new and experienced whisky drinkers can appreciate this.
Picked this up while passing through LHR. Nose and palate are fantastic but finish for me is a wee bit strong but definitely not a reason not to indulge!
