Another batch of Glenlivet's wonderful Nàdurra single malt Scotch whisky has arrived, in all its non-chill-filtered goodness! Batch 1214E comes presented at 60.2% ABV and was bottled without any of that chill-filtration in late 2014.
First ever whisky review: I'm normally a beer nerd and enjoy the occasional Islay scotch. That being said, this one has made a great wedding present. Appearance: gold-amber Nose: vanilla, American oak, cherry, biscuit Mouthfeel: creamy, rounded but with some bite (60.2%) Flavor: big on green apple with pear and date - adding water opens things up and brings out cinnamon and nutmeg
