The Glenlivet 12 Year Old First Fill
From Speyside's Glenlivet comes this marvellous 12 year old single malt. Matured exclusively in first fill American oak casks for a dozen years, it's brimming with fruity floral notes – a fabulous example of the Glenlivet style.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Heaps of fresh orchard fruits, floral apples, apricots, blossom, and vanilla.
Palate
Peach and apricot continue with buttery vanilla fudge and vibrant fruit alongside a touch of citrus and tangy oak char.
Finish
Gently spicy malt builds with toasted oak spice, but the fruit lingers with a light caramel sweetness.
