This bottle of Glenlivet was aged for 15 years after its distillation in August 2006. It matured nicely in a first-fill sherry butt until the single malt was bottled in June 2022 for Signatory's Cask Strength Collection. The barrel saw an outturn of 596 bottles at a huge 63.8% ABV.
Banana bread with a good helping of nutmeg spice, and juicy raisins.
Almonds enrobed in rich dark chocolate are balanced by the gentle lusciousness of stewed fruits and apricot jam.
Creamy and sweet with lots of fruit.
