A peated edition of The English single malt whisky from the English Distillery. A good core of smoke runs through this one, alongside recognisable vanilla-rich notes.
Cinnamon, smoked malt and blueberry muffins.
Full-bodied smoke, paired with light notes of buttered bread and peppery barley.
Stem ginger and lingering bonfire embers.

This is a beautiful whiskey, its mellow when first tasted followed by a real smokey after taste. Just buy two now.
Warm, autumnal spices followed by peat smoke that could not, it's fair to say, be described as subtle (described as a "smoke bomb" on the packaging) and a sense of young-ish malt.Pleasing, slow finish. Overall a pretty nice dram with stacks of potential.
