A splendid sherry cask matured whisky from The English Distillery! The distillery has been building up its stocks, and now, this becomes the first sherry cask matured single malt to join its core range alongside its Original and Smokey expressions.
This took home 'World's Best Single Malt Whisky'at the 2024 World Whiskies Awards beating the might of Scotland.
Tasting Note by The Producer
Wafts of rich dark fruits, almonds and vanilla are followed by a wonderful taste of fruit cake, digestive biscuits, honey and figs with a hint of chocolate; all topped off with a lovely long and sweet finish.
