All the way from Ireland comes a mysterious 13 year old single malt Irish whiskey, bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company! Perfect for anyone who loves whiskey packed with fresh fruit and vanilla notes, or anyone that's particularly fond of a lovely, lovely, lovely horse. And sax solos.
Batch 3 is a release of 1,726 bottles.
‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
White grapes, red apples and cooked pears. Plenty of vanilla-rich wafts follow, along with a touch of coconut.
Bright citrus notes kick things off, joined by nectarine, quince, milky coffee and praline.
Slightly nutty on the finish with almond and walnut, though still rich in fresh fruit sweetness.
Very good. Citrus, green fruits. Nice and sweet. Smooth with a nice finish. Far from being close to his masterpiece old brother (the 24 years old) but sure is a lovely bottle.
Honestly the best surprise since I tasted Yamazaki. First I could smell pear - some say lucretia... then I was just smiling even before I tried it. I drank a lot of whiskies but can't call myself a connaisseur. I don't really taste 120 flavours in a whisky but this one is just pure joy. Despite the label noble being a little bit flashy :)
Just had it on warsaw whisky festival. Tried many others. Including some 30 year old. Its just so refreshing. Its different. Its original. I wont spoil the surprise for you.
